History & Staff
We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.
Our Beginning
In 2024, John & Jackie Rozga purchased an old medical building. This property was far larger than what we were looking for in order to expand our Milwaukee funeral service and build a crematory. Because of all the space, we felt a second cremator, (exclusively for pets) and a memorial center in its own wing made sense; Treasured Tails was born. This is a state-of-the-art building providing full-service funeral care for people and will embrace that same full- service model for pets. We plan to meet all requests for onsite visitations, memorial gatherings and cremation, both private and communal. We will also provide many options to memorialize your pet.
There is no easy way to deal with the loss of a family member be it a human or a pet. Grief is grief and loss is difficult for everyone that experiences it. We have learned many things over 127 years as a family-owned business; one of them keeps us all motivated to do this job. We cannot change the fact that a death has occurred, but we can help ease the pain that accompanies that loss in every way possible. With the creation of Treasured Tails, we plan to host a sight called “Treasured Tales.” This resource will be a place for people to share their favorite stories & pictures of their pets and hopefully provide healing, sort of like a virtual grief support group.
“The littles paws make the biggest footprints on our hearts. How Blessed to have loved something that makes saying goodbye so painful”
