This year, my world shifted with the loss of my father, the dreamer who nurtured my creative spirit. To heal and express the deep wounds his departure left, I turned to art during this difficult time. My best friend and bulldog, Scarlett, was fighting for her life after an emergency surgery. Drawing her helped me process the complex emotions as I anxiously awaited her recovery. I was able to capture the essence of my beloved pet in a portrait.
My artistic journey continued by creating heartfelt portraits for others dealing with the loss of their pets. I have partnered with Treasured Tails Pet Memorial and Cremation, where I create portraits that memorialize pets. My hope is to provide comfort to grieving families with a personalized portrait.
